My name is Jack D'Alelio and I'm the inventor
of the Magic Toob Lampshade Leveler. I started my career as a chemist and went on to become a quality professional in areas like biotech, pharmaceuticals and medical devices for nearly thirty years.
After getting laid off yet AGAIN from my last real job which I loved, I decided to put the world of cubicles behind me and strike out on my own. Shortly thereafter I formed Nimble Jack Enterprises with a commitment to providing innovative solutions to everyday problems.
One day I was pondering the issue of trying to get clip-on lampshades to fit the new coiled spiral shaped CFL's that will become increasing popular as a federal ban on incandescent bulbs begins to take effect in 2012.
After thinking about the issue for a long time, suddenly an idea came to me from back in my days as a chemist. I got my hands on some high temperature silicone tubing, cut it to length and split it down the side. I found I could easily wrap it around ANY bulb clip and when I put it on the nearest clip-on shade and tried it on a spiral CFL, it worked better than I ever could have imagined!
